It’s New Year’s eve. Although it’s New Year’s eve I still got to work. It’s such a sad case. Sigh… and the worst part is that all celebrations are cancelled. This is due to Tsunami incident. This is a respect to all the Tsunami victim. My initial plan was to go to 1U to celebrate the countdown after work but since the government said all celebration is cancelled, I stayed home after work. Sigh… I thought this year I can usher into the New Year again with Aaron.

Today is my first stock take. i went with another of my colleague. The stock take is held in Sunway Damansara, somewhere near Ikano. We suppose to reach there at 9am but instead we reach at 8:45am. We couldn’t start work at 9am due to power failure. We only can start work at 10am and yet we are working in the dark with no electricity. It seems that something got burned, that’s the cause for the power failure.

The stocks we count include stocks such as spare parts for machines, stirrers, shaft and etc. The stocks are very organized and the storekeeper and the clients are very helpful and friendly. It took us bout 2 hours to finish our stock take. By 11:45am we are already done with the stock take. So my colleague took me back to 1 Utama shopping centre Giant supermarket car park. That’s where I parked my car before I hop on to my colleagues car to client’s place.

I drove to Aaron’s house instead and had lunch with him in 1 Utama. We just walk around and spent some time together. How nice if stock take is everyday. Hehehehe…

Then we had ‘sai mai lou’ in Kepong on the way back from 1 Utama. I wanted to spent more time with him but then I don’t want to get stuck in the jam. So left before office hours.

It’s christmas today. Merry Christmas everyone! As I said earlier I’m suppose to wake up at 7am the earliest. But guess what? I woke up at 7:30am. I rush to the washroom to brush my teeth and wash my face and I change as fast as possible. By the time I leave May’s rented house is already 7:45am. But luckily there’s a teksi. I reach the bus station at around 8am. I boarded the bus immediately. I checked with the bus driver whether is this the right bus and he said yes. So I went up. But according to my bus ticket, my seat number is 01 and there is no such seat. So the driver ask me to sit any empty seat. Not long later, the actual owner of my seat boarded the bus, so I have to give the seat to them.

I was so frustrated and damn tired and angry. Then the bus conductor came up and I showed him my bus ticket. He said that I boarded the wrong bus. I was like WHAT!!!?? He said that my bus has already left the bus station. So he suggest that the driver drop me at the immigration and from there I change to the actual bus. The actual bus I took was worst off than the wrong bus I took. Sigh…

Then on the way back, the north-south highway was jam. Sigh... another bad luck. We got stuck in the jam for about an hour. I sit till my butt also pain. Furthermore I need to go to the ladies badly. Once the jam is cleared then another massive jam was encountered. It was the heart of KL. It was so jam in the Bukit Bintang area. I think some of them still doing some last minute christmas shopping. The journey from Singapore to KL took me 7 hours. I reach KL at 3pm. And the bus driver didn’t stop us back in Puduraya but stop us at Federal Hotel and ask us to get down. I was so furious. But thank God that my boyfriend come and pick me up. If not I will continue swearing and cursing. Hehehehe…
In the car I was so tired and in bad mood. Thanks to the bus driver. Aaron gave me a Christmas present which he bought for me. I don’t even have the mood to open it. I’m really sorry that I spoil the christmas mood. But I really like the present. It is a soft toy. Hehehehe… it’s name is Hustle and it’s 3 times bigger than my Patrick soft toy. Thank you Aaron. I hope you like my Christmas present to you.

After my boyfriends came and pick me up we went to Endah Parade for lunch at 3:30pm. I was so hungry and furthermore I didn’t eat my breakfast since I woke up late and rush to go to the bus station. I only has a corn in cup when the bus stop at one of the restaurant at Yong Peng. We went to McDonald for lunch. After lunch Aaron sent me back home. I was really exhausted. I bathed immediately once I reach home. It’s os nice to take a nice long shower after a long and tired journey.

Later in the evening my family and I went out for dinner nearby. After dinner my little brother is so eager to go back to open the christmas presents because I promise him that after dinner only he can open the presents. I was surprise when I came back that the presents are still under the tree and it’s not opened. Usually he can’t wait till christmas day to open the presents. He will either wait till the clock struck 12midnight to open them or few hours before.

I got a Carlo Rino Handbag from my mum as a christmas present, a tweety car sun blind from my little brother and a furry Nici notebook from my elder brother, £20 from my aunt from UK and a socks with bells on it. This is the best christmas I’ve ever had since for the past 3 years my christmas was ruined by my degree semester exams.

It’s Christmas eve and yet another day in Singapore. Half of the day I was all alone since May Ng have to work half day. I went to Bugis all by myself. As usual did some shopping there.

After Bugis I head back to Ochard Road to meet up with May. Went to Plaza Singapura to get Lucas his christmas present since he wanted a Pokemon jigsaw puzzle. Then shop for more christmas present for May’s cousins. I was dread tired walking from one end to the other end of Ochard Road. I can barely walk. I’m dragging my leg.

After getting all the christmas present we need we took MRT back to May’s rented house to take a quick shower and wrap all the presents before going to May’s cousins house for christmas eve dinner with her cousins, nephew and her parents and brothers and sisters whom just came down to Singapore few hours ago. We had dinner together where the kids sit at the balcony while the adults sit at the dining because the dining is not big enough for all of us. After dinner we have present opening ceremony. May’s cousin bought me a made in Singapore bag. I was so full after the dinner. Dinner ends bout minight.

After the dinner, me and May went to Boat Quey. We missed the christmas countdown in Boat Quey. There’s so many people there. We walk around Boat Quey and we bump into 2 sexy Ah Qua. They are not pretty but they wear until very sexy. We ended up in one of the night pub. We had a drink. A non-alcoholic drink that is.

We were in the pub for an hour or so. Then we decided to sit by the pond and just chat. There’s so many couples hanging around there. That time I really which that my boyfriend is there with me. We sat there till 4am. It’s so nice to sit there. It’s so breezy.

I was darn tired when I reach back to May’s rented room. And furthermore my bus back to KL is at 8am. Means I got to wake up at 7am the latest. But I really had a great time.

Met up with my dear primary friend, Yeong Ching in Singapore

Another day in Singapore. Met up with one of my primary friend, Yeong Ching and her boyfriend, Brandon. We had lunch together then Brandon took us to the see ‘Durian’. Durian refers to the Esplanade. It’s a theatre where concerts are held. Then next stop is the Suntek. It’s the biggest shopping complex in Singapore and it is built as a palm. One of the fingers is the shopping complex and the other 4 fingers are the office blocks. The centre palm is a fountain of wealth. We went there and it is believe that by walking around the fountain and touching the water gives one luck. So I did what they believe. I hope I’m in luck after that. I was all drenched after touching the fountain of wealth.

The next stop is Funan. It’s an IT Centre. Yeong Ching wanted to get a router. We found it but then she doesn’t want to buy in the end. Funan is something like our beloved Low Yat Plaza.

We went separate ways after that. They wanted to go home. So I head on to Ochard Road myself. Went window shopping basically. The things there are too expensive. I went to Ngee Ann City Takashimaya, Paragon, Heeren and etc. I went window shopping while waiting for May to finish her work. We met up at 6pm then went window shopping again with May because she wanted to get some Christmas present. Then we had dinner in Thai Express in Paragon complex. All the other restaurant are filled with people. All the restaurant need to queue in order to be seated. We choose the shortest queue. I’m so hungry that time.

It suppose to be a Thai Express but my food was served 45 minutes after we are being seated. They forgot bout my ordered and one of the waiter who serves us apologise and gave us a complimentary mango salad. According to May that dish cost SGD6. the waiter who serve us not bad looking. We are excluded from their service charges. How nice that is.

After dinner we walked around Ochard Road and went back to May’s rented house around midnight. We chatted till we slept.

Woke up at 10am. Went out for breakfast at Yunan for their kaya toast which is famous in Singapore. Nothing special bout their kaya toast. Then May Ng brought me to Ochard Road. There are so many shopping complexes along Orchard Road. You can spend the whole day in Ochard Road.

Then May took me to her Fitness First gym. Lots of things I ‘learned’ from the gym visiting. Hehehehe… but the place is nice. I feel like joining the Fitness First gym in Malaysia. Who wants to join me?

After Ochard Road, we went to Raffles, Fullerton, Merlion Park and etc. Basically went exploring the place. Took quite a number of photographs.

After visiting some places of interest in Singapore we went to Intercontinental Hotel to pick Lucas, May’s nephew up and head on to Singapore Night Safari. The tickets is kinda expensive. An adult ticket cost SGD24 while child cost SGD9. It’s something different where you can’t get it in Malaysia. There’s a tram that took us around the safari. The ride last for 40minutes. It’s pretty dark in there. There is no chance to take photo and we are all warned not to take photographs using flash as it will scare the animals.

After that we took a cab back to Lucas’s house. then we ourselves head back to May’s rented house. It was already 1am that time. I took a long shower then we have some girl talk till we all fell asleep.

Yippie, I’m going to Singapore. It has been years since I’ve been to Singapore. In the morning did some last minute packing. I took my little bro to buy his school books since school is gonna re-open soon. My parents are on leave today. So we cooked at home for lunch and at the same time pray for ‘Tung’ festival where we make ‘Tong Yuen’ (red and white flour rolled up into little balls and cooked in sweetened water).

My parents offer to send me to Puduraya to take my bus to Singapore. We left house about 2:15pm. My bus is at 3pm. I was late on the way to Puduraya. As usual KL was jam. My parents had a little argument on this matter bout me gonna miss the bus because my mum ask my dad to leave house earlier but he say don’t need to as he doesn’t want me to wait there like a fool. I feel bad bout it. But I calm the situation down by telling them that it is ok to miss the bus. Worst come to the worst I go back to the ticket counter and change to the later bus or get a new ticket.

But luckily I manage to reach Puduraya in time. I reach there at 3pm sharp and the bus left slightly past 3pm. I was exhausted when I’m seated. I practically running from one end of the Puduraya to the other end. I was being seated with an Ah Beng. A chinese young guy. But later I changed my seat to a single seat once the bus left the station. I can’t afford to sit with a stranger for 6 hours. Hehehehe…

Our first stop is Serdang toll. That is our first toilet break. Then the next stop is in Yong Peng. It’s a restaurant which sells some snacks and drinks. We stopped there for about 15-30 minutes. Then we head on the road to Singapore.

After that we reached Johor immigration. They only checked our passport then hop on to the bus again. then we are heading towards Woodlands. That is the Singapore immigration. From Johor immigration to Singapore immigration was jam. It took bout 15 minutes to reach Woodlands. Once we reached Woodlands, we hop down the bus with luggage this time. I was so blur when I was in Woodlands. Everyone seem to be moving so fast and I blindly followed. I’m so silly that I forgot to enquire for the immigration white form which needs to be filled. When I reached the counter, the security ask me for the form and I said I don’t have it. He gave me the form and ask me to filled it up and queue back the line in order to pass the immigration. After successefully passing through the immigration hop back to the bus. Then head on to Golden Mile Complex, Beach Road in Singapore. That is the arrival bus station.

I reached there at 9:15pm and I waited for May Ng to picked me up. She turned up bout 5 minutes later with her nephew. We took a cab to her rented room which is situated in Rowell Road in Little India. After dropping my luggage we head downstairs to have my dinner. May send her nephew, Lucas back to his parents then went to a chinese restaurant to have my dinner. After dinner around 11pm May brought me around the place. She showed me the 24 hours shopping complex. Mustafa Centre it’s name. You can find almost everything that you need there from frozen food to electrical goods and jewelry. We just walked around the nearby place then back to her rented room. I was so tired. I slept off around 2am.

It’s shopping again today. Today I’m shopping for Aaron’s and my younger brother christmas present. Suppose to meet May Ann and her college friends in Mid Valley at 2pm. But I went there earlier to get their presents. I bought RM100 gift vouchers for Aaron and bought 2 yoyo for my younger brother. I was walking around Mid Valley the hwole day thinking what to buy for my brother and ended up buying him a yoyo. I don’t think he likes that present very much. But I just buy something for him at a mean time and probably get something else for him from Singapore.

At lunch we met up with May Ann and her college friends. I can’t really recall her friends only Pughan and Lai Teng. Others no idea at all. But I can remember their names not their faces. We just met up a while because May Ann came late. So I didn’t hang with them for long. I left Mid Valley at 6pm. I was so tired when I came home. Been walking the whole day and thinking of what to buy for my younger brother’s christmas present. And tomorrow back to work again. Furthermore I had a meeting to attend.

I had a tiring day today. Was practically shopping the whole day. Left the house at 10am. Went to Puduraya to get my bus ticket to Singapore. Then went to Petaling Street to buy some stuff. In the end bought a christmas tree from one of the shop in Petaling Street. It’s a 5 ft tree which cost me RM35.

After Petaling Street, visited my grandma in nursing home. It has been a while since I visited her. Was too busy with my work and exam.

Then head on to 1 Utama to begin my Christmas shopping. Met up with Ju Wei there. Later during lunch met up with Aaron and his sister for lunch. They were heading to Rock The World 5. He insisted me of going but I decline. I’m not interested in all this gig.

I bought a Pierre Cardin wallet for my mum which cost me RM80, a Alan Delon shirt for my dad for RM45, a final fantasy watch for my elder brother which cost me RM70 and I also bought something for Aaron’s sister. It’s a sleeveless shirt from Elle. And I bought something for my dear friend May Ng since I’ll be meeting her in Singapore. I hope she likes the present. It’s nothing fancy.

I practically walk the whole day. i spent almost close to RM450. I came home around 6:30pm. Then not long after that my family and I went out for dinner and after dinner went to pasar malam. Again walk again. Then came back we put up the christmas tree. The christmas tree didn’t turn out to be that nice. It think it’s the lightings. I think it’s too colourful. The tree and the decos cost me RM100.

I had my company group industrial update today. And guess where is it held. It was held in Hotel Sri Petaling. It’s so convinient for me. We are suppose to be there at 8:30am and I woke up at 8am and take my own sweet time to go there. Practically the whole day was spent there.

In the morning we had a briefing on drafting on financial statements and property development (MASB32). Then a whole bunch of us went nearby to had lunch. After lunch we played 2 games. One is a card game and the other one was a maze game. I had fun in the maze game and the card game is confusing. Both of this game basically teach us to communicate between our fellow colleagues.

Then at night, dinner was served. The food was okie. We had a little lucky draw of 10 RM20 Jusco vouchers, 5 RM50 Jusco vouchers and 2 grand prize of a motorola handphone and a digital camera. And of course I’m not the lucky one. Sigh…

We even has an orientation for the Vacation Trainees and the newly joined staffs. Some are asked to sing and perform. I pity the vacation trainees. They are only with the firm for 3 months and already kena played. Poor them.

At the end of the dinner all of us are given an early christmas present. We are all asked to bring a wrapped present amounting from RM5 to RM10. then we put it into a box and they numberred the presents. Then we are asked to pick a number for the presents. I got a snowman. It’s a decorative item. You can see the picture below. Everything ends around 8:30pm. I had lots of fun. The fun part is that we don’t need to work. Heheheh… but it’s working day again tomorrow. But luckily it’s Friday tomorrow. Hehehehe…

Another day in Penang. We went to Kek Lok Si and Penang Hill. We went to Penang Hill first at around 11am and the tickets available is at 2:45pm. So we bought the tickets and went to Kek Lok Si Temple. Along the way to Kek Lok Si Temple there are many stalls selling souvenirs, clothes and their Penang local products. The stalls are at the stairways up to Kek Lok Si Temple. We climbed so many flight of stairs. Finally we reach the temple and there’s a huge Kuan Yin buddha. It is made of bronze. From the temple you can see the view of Penang. It’s beautiful.

On the way down we ate vegetarian food. Then rush to Penang Hill. We sat the cable car or train you call it up to the hill. There’s nothing much up there just the scenery and some cool air. From the hill you can see the Penang Bridge. Another nice view of Penang.

From Penang Hill we went to Komtar and Peringin Mall for some shopping. Window shopping again. After that we went back to Gurney Drive for dinner. This time I ate Asam Laksa which only cost me RM2 and some lok lok which only cost 60cent per stick. I even ta pau chicken wing back to hotel to eat. All we do there is eat and eat and eat. I think I put on some pounds. Sigh…

I went to Penang with my mum and lil bro for a holiday. We took flight there. It’s an early flight and we got to get up at 6:30am because the teksi to KLIA will be arriving at 7am. I can’t wake up at 6:30am instead I woke up at 7am. Luckily the teksi is late. If not my mum will start nagging. You know lar mums. Sigh…

So we reach the airport at 8:30am and our flight is at 9:20am. Just in time to check in. our seat are at the back of the airplane. So they called the people who’s seat is in front. When all of them boarded the plane, the announcer said “Penumpang-penumpang lebihan boleh masuk sekarang”. Penumpang lebihan? Me and my mum was laughing away. Who they think we are huh?

We reach Penang around 11am. Took a cab to the hotel. We stayed in Tanjung Bungah Beach Resort. After checking in to the hotel, we took a bus out to Gurney Drive. We ate Pizza Hut for lunch. Ya ya.. I know it’s silly to eat Pizza Hut in Penang. Out of so many things to eat we go eat Pizza for lunch. This is because my mum had a RM20 Pizza Hut voucher. So she wants to use it before it expired. We ordered so much food. This is the first time my mum ordered so much food in Pizza Hut. We ordered a the ocean treasure set with one regular pizza, 2 drinks, 2 pepsi, a basket of garlic bread and a plate of criss cut fries. And add on a Alfredo Chicken Spagetti and a Seafood Lasagna. We are so full after the meal.

After lunch we went to Gurney Plaza for some shopping. Gurney Plaza is kinda huge for a small island. Basically we only window shopping. Nothing to buy. Whatever it’s in Gurney Plaza you can find it in Mid Valley.

After that we took a bus back to the hotel. We went for a stroll in the beach. The beach is so much cleaner than the Port Dickson’s beach. There’s so many beautiful shells to pick. My mum went to the gym and my lil bro went to the swimming pool. I stayed back at the beach. I just love the beach so much. I picked up some shells. I even found some dead fish on the beach. Too bad there ain’t any girls in bikini. Hehehhe… if not then can cuci mata.

Then later at night we went to Gurney Drive for dinner. This is a must to go for food. There are quite a number of stalls in Gurney Drive. We ate varieties of food. And of course not forgetiing their Char Keuy Teow. The prices are reasonable. You can buy a Char Kuey Teow for RM3, Hor Chien for RM5 but their sotong kangkung is expensive. It cost me RM12 for a small plate of sotong kangkung.

After dinner we went to Batu Ferringi for their pasar malam. Their pasar malam is not like our ordinary pasar malam. It’s basically is a tourist spot to buy souvenirs and clothes. It’s a very long pasar malam. We only walk a couple of stores and head back to hotel.

Argh… it’s finally my first ACCA exam paper. I’m so nervous before the exam. My exam starts at 3pm and it’s UITM, Shah Alam. There’s so much to memorize. I ate a quick lunch and off I go to UITM. I left house around 1pm. I thought of going there early so that I can still revise some last minute chapters.

Before this, I took a tour to UITM to find out where is the place. So I thought I can remember the route but it turn out that I lost my way. I ended up somewhere far which I have no idea where am i. I was panicking. I was running late too. I was like.. sei la sei la.. I really don’t know what to do. I just keep driving using my instinct because there are so many roundabouts and some of the roundabouts have no signboard. So I hentam only. In the end I manage to reach UITM. But it tunr out that it’s a different UITM. It’s a different campus. I need to go to the main campus. So I got down and ask the guard for directions. At that time it’s already 2.15pm. the guard told me that the main campus was very far away. I was like.. OMG!! I’m gonna be late for my first time in exam. This can’t be. I calm myself down and listen carefully to the guard directions. I thank the guard and went back to my car.

And it turn out that I was actually on the right track from the beginning but just that I took the wrong turning at one of the roundabout. Sigh… I’m so frustrated with myself. How could I get lost in Shah Alam. This is the most roundabout I’ve been to in my entire life in an hour.

My frustration doesn’t end there. After I finnaly reach to the main campus of UITM, there is no parking at all. And I was stuck in the carpark for bout 10 minutes because cars are parked all over the places and those student driver block my exit. So I got ot wait for them to slowly reverse their cars out. I got fed up and drove my car further from the exam hall and find parking somewhere else. I finally found a parking bout 5 min walk away. By the time I reach the exam hall it’s already 2.45pm. I wanted to pee badly when I was in the car and I took a fast pee and rush to the exam hall. I found my table, sat down and immediately write down all my particulars and attendance list. By the time I finish filling the particulars, the invigilator said that we can start the paper now. I was like.. huh? I was so blur that time. I still haven’t settle down yet. My heart was still pumping really fast.

I flipped open the first page. Read the first question. I don’t know how to do that question. Never mind, I read the second question, I know I read this chapter. I read the next question and so on and decide which questions to do. After reading all the questions, I decided to start writing on the questions I’ve picked. The first picked question I know the answer to it but I just can’t recall. I go to the next question, and yet again I can’t recall. I was like.. this time really sei lor. All also don’t know how to answer. Then I calm myself down. Take in deep breath. And I start to read the questions again. And finally the light bulb lighted and without wasting anymore time I start to write like mad. My writing was horrible but it’s readable.

This is the most horrifying experience I’ve ever had in exams. And thank goodness those candidates besides me aren’t writing much. At least they don’t pressure me that much. Imagine if the candidates beside you write and write and write non-stop and you are just sitting there playing with your pen thinking for the answer. That would be really pressure. All I hope for now is to pass the paper and no more Law exams for me. *Pray Hard*

Well, as I mentioned yesterday company’s annual dinner is today. This is my first company’s annual dinner or should I say second formal company’s social affairs. My first was the Bangkok trip. But the Bangkok trip only includes my department group. This annual dinner include the whole Ernst&Young employees.

Around 800 people turn up. We had free-pork chinese dishes. It’s like those wedding dinner. The first dish is obviously the four season dish. And since our theme for tonight was ‘Legenda’ they named the food according to the theme too. The four season was named ‘Hang Tuah, Hang Jebat, Hang Lekir and Hang Lekiu’. Then the next dish is a seafood soup which is equivalent with sharkfin’s soup but it’s without sharkfin. This dish is named ‘Wong Fei Hung’. This is then followed by some chilli sour chicken, fried garupa fish (Puteri Gunung Ledang), brocolli with mushroom and ‘tau kan’ (Robin Hood of Sherwood Forest), fried rice, and as for dessert we have cheesecake (Cleopetra) and leng chi kang.

The dinner only starts around 8:30pm. All of them dress so sassy, elegant and sexy. It reminds me of prom night. Not many of them dress according to the theme. Only a hand-full of them dress according to the theme. One came as Thai-kick boxer, another as Cesear, there’s also Wong Fei Hung, Hang Tuah and P. Ramlee. And as for the ladies, they dress as Cleopatra, Audrey Hepburn, Princess of Scotland and etc.

They even have EY Idol. One person from each group is selected to sing in front of the crowd and prizes are awarded for best singer. And the idol of course goes to my audit team for best performance, best sportmanship and best audience.

We even have lucky draws. The grand prize is RM1,000. I’m just not lucky that night. My number was not called for the lucky draw. *Sob sob*…

The dinner and the lucky draws ends around 12midnight. They have dances after that. I didn’t stay for the dance. Furthermore it’s my study week. The next day I got to wake up early to study and I got to send one of my colleague home after the dinner. She stayed in Puchong. By the time I reach home it’s almost 1am. I was so tired but I had fun in the annual dinner and dance. It’s worth skipping few hours of my studies to attend the dinner. Here are some pitures of me with my colleagues in the dinner.

I’ll be having my company’s annual dinner tomorrow in Shangri-La Hotel. I have no idea what to wear for the dinner. The theme is ‘Lagenda’. I don’t think I’m dressing according to the theme but something elegant. I just found out that I have 2 suitable dress for fine dining. But I can’t decide. Here are the pictures. I need some feedback. Heheheh…

Hmmm... should i wear this dress which i bought from Thailand or

This dress which i wore for my secondary prom dress. Just the dress or

The dress with the scarf or

The dress with the shawl? Posted by Hello
