Today I left office pretty early. It has been such a long time since I left this early. I left around 6pm today. Syok eh. Well, actually I have a farewell dinner for my ex-colleague.

We celebrated at One Plus Shabu Shabu in 1 Utama. Oh… before that, me and another friend did shopping in Key Ng while waiting for the rest to arrive. I bought a shirt for RM55.

It’s so sad to see so many of them leaving Ernst & Young. But it seems that the staffing and the culture in that audit department are getting from bad to worst. In fact, my ex-manager also tendered. Imagine how bad it is.

I foresee that there will be another farewell dinner next month. Well, at least with all this farewell dinner, it gets us closer to each other. But no one knows what would happen to the friendship once everyone has a separate career path to walk. We probably need to put lots of effort to keep the friendship going.

Anyway, I wish you all the best in your career journey in Singapore. Have a safe trip there and forget us not. Will come and visit you if I were to go to Singapore. And don’t forget to help me look out for vacancy in Singapore. Hahaha… All da best my dear friend, Noel.

Carrot with watercrest drink. Looks ugly.. but it's delicious

I went to Sunway Pyramid over the weekends. Went there to tried out the new fast food chain, Wendy's. The first time I tried Wendy's was when I'm in Manila last year. That time I was wondering why didn't they have it in Malaysia, and now here it is in Sunway Pyramid.

Today is also the first time I tried out Archery. Not too bad I would say. But then my left hand damn tiring. And of course my aims are all over the place except for bulls eye. Shall try it out again next time.

That's me in action. Yeah, I know, my clothings a bit out for Archery. Hahaha...
This is what my results looks like. Pretty bad huh.

Wendy's menu
Wendy's twisted frost. Yummy!
Fried chicken. Original + Spicy
Can you guess what's inside?
It's a 1/2 pound beef burger

During my lunch break, me and my colleague went to Isetan for shopping. It’s the first day of sale. And I can tell you that the sale is really really good man. I spend RM260 there. Hahaha...

The best was I bought my first Agatha product. I love that brand so much. I love the dog. I bought an Agatha ring. It was on promotion. It cost me RM100 and the normal price is RM169. I even got a ‘I love Agatha’ pocket mirror free.

Besides the ring, I bought working clothes. The top and the pants cost RM100 and the material is really good for that price. I even bought 1 blouse and 1 Polo-T.

Isetan sale is a must to go!

My Doggie Ring
Carven top and bottom for RM100 only. Top normal price RM99 and Pants normal price RM129. It's a really good bargain.

Guess what.. Guess what!!!! I got a call today. A very interesting call. A call that could make me rich. Yes! I got a call from Deal or No Deal (DOND). I thought I have no hope already after such a long wait since the day I filled up the form. You can view the post on the day that I filled up the form via http://chrisbabyluv.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html. Check out the post dated 2 March 2008. That call has really made my day.

As you know DOND has 2 rounds. The 1st round is the preliminary round and the 2nd is the deal or no deal.

Here are some of the rules of the game.

Round 1
In Round 1, the Host will ask a series of multiple-choice questions to 6 contestants. Any contestant who answers a question wrongly, will be eliminated immediately. If none of the contestants are able to answer the question, the Host will move on to the next question. The contestant who is the first to answer 2 questions correctly will move on to play in Round 2.

Round 2
1. As soon as the Round 1 winner is known, the final game of Deal or No Deal begins. Displayed on the set are 26 briefcases containing anywhere from RM0.10 to RM100,000! The amounts in each of the briefcases will be displayed on a big screen in the set – the Money Tree. No one knows which amount can be found in each briefcase, with the exception of the appointed auditor. The amounts may be placed in a pre-determined order

2. The Contestant selects his briefcase out of 26 briefcases. An important moment, because that briefcase is his! That briefcase could contain from a measly amount to an absolute fortune! For which amount will the Contestant later sell his briefcase to “the bank?”

3. The Contestant will be asked to select and open several more briefcases in order to have a better idea of the amount his own briefcase may contain. As soon as each briefcase is opened, the amounts instantly disappear from the screen. The game will be played in this way until the Banker calls to offer the Contestant to buy back his briefcase for a price. The Host will present the Banker’s offer to the Contestant.

4. Will the Contestant accept the Banker’s offer to buy back his briefcase? Is it a Deal or No Deal?

5. Whenever there’s “No Deal”, the Contestant must then open a certain number of briefcases.

6. When the contestant decides to Deal (accept the Banker’s offer), he must first answer one Final Question correctly before taking the offer. If the Contestant answers the Final Question wrongly, he will only receive 20% of the banker’s offer.

7. If the game is played until 2 briefcases remain – the Contestant’s own, and another one displayed on the set -- the Contestant will end up with whatever amount his own briefcase contains.

8. If the Contestant deals early in the game or answers the Final Question wrongly, he will be asked to continue opening briefcases to see 'what would have happened' if he had continued playing the game.

9. In respect of any Cash Prize won by the Contestant, only 80% of the Cash Prize may be payable to the Contestant who won whilst 20% of the Cash Prize may be payable to the SMS winner of the same episode subject to the absolute discretion of the Producer, Executive Producer and/or the Broadcaster which shall not be disputed and/or questioned.

I will be going for the shooting of Round 1 on 10 May (Saturday). If I win this round, then I would have to go there again on 11 May (Sunday) for the shooting of the Round 2. And this is where you guys are very important to me. I am allowed to bring 3-4 guests up on the stage with me. These 3-4 guests are really important as they will help me to decide whether “Deal” or “No Deal” and also on which briefcase I should open.

On top of that, I need to bring 10-20 audiences. Therefore, all of you out there are invited to join me in the game. Therefore, please do keep 11 May (Sunday) free for me just in case I won the Round 1.

The following are the details:-

Venue:
NATSEVEN TV SDN BHD (NTV7)
No.7, Jalan Jurubina U1/18,
Hicom-Glenmarie Industrial Park,
40000 Shah Alam.

Time: 9:30am – 2pm
Date: 11 May 2008 (Sunday)

Wish me lots of luck my dearest friends. I really need them. Hope to see you there on 11 May.

Happy Birthday to me,
Happy Birthday to me,
Happy Birthday to meeeee,
Happy Birthday to me.

Yes! It’s my birthday today. I’m officially one year older today. Sob sob. Although it is my birthday today, but I have to wake up early for a special interest class. What class is it? Haha… it’s not ACCA of course. It’s a basic caving theory class which is organized by Malaysian Nature Society (MNS).

What we will be doing is basically learning the wonders of caves and giving ourselves the change to experience something different by learning the geology, flora & fauna of caves, try out knots tying and also do a spot of abseiling, vertical climbs, crawls while appreciating the cave formations. I have no idea how am I gonna do the abseiling. I’m really scared of height.

The course is conducted in 2 session: theory & practical. Today was the theory where we are being introduced the wonders of the caves via slides, presentation and sharing session. We even end our day by hands-on-knots tying session and caving equipments.

We will be leaving for our 2 days practical caving in Kota Gelanggi Caves in Pahang on 18 April (Friday). We will be walking, climbing, crawling, squeezing, learning and admiring the caves formation.

The cost for this trip is RM320 for MNS members and RM390 for non-MNS members. Inclusive are lunch for the theory session and 2 nights chalet accommodation, 2 breakfast, 1 tea and 1 BBQ dinner for the practical session. However, the transportation we got to car-pool.

I really can’t wait to start my practical. This is gonna be so interesting and best of all, this is gonna be my first adventurous outing.

It’s pretty sad because later at night only me and my brother is celebrating my birthday on my actual day. My parents went to Genting. So left only me and my younger brother. But it’s okie. At least there is someone to celebrate with. So I brought him to Bangsar to had ice-cream which I’m dying to eat for quite some time now. We went to Baskin Robbins and tried out their timeless classic. Well, that is basically how I celebrated my birthday.
Baskin Robbins' Timeless Classic. Isn't the presentation just lovely and make you want to eat them?

But this is how the actual ones looks like. Disgusting isn't it? Can you spot which Timeless Classic is this?

Well, it's Brownie ala Mode with choice of Tiramisu and some Caramel icecream with Hot chocolate Fudge

It’s a day before my birthday. Wanted to have a birthday party, but lazy to organize and it’s gonna get pretty messy after the party. So decided to keep it simple. I invited my ex-colleagues for dinner in Italianies, Sunway Pyramid. The food was great. And not forgetting those who turn up. Thank you so much. And wait, how could I forget myself being humiliated in front of everybody. Well, thanks to the Italianies guy and all this was caught in video. Hmp!... But I really do enjoy myself.

Thank you so much for all the birthday presents and the birthday song. And I would like to say a very big thank you to Nick for the dinner. It was so sweet of you to do so. I really had a great day with you guys. I just couldn’t say thank you enough. THANK YOU!

Chicken Pizza
Seafood Spaghetti

Me smiling away with my birthday cake. Yes, I'm cutting with a spoon...

Work has been crazy this week. I was so afraid that I am not able to leave office early today. My brother got 4 free tickets to watch Sean Kingston live in Zouk Kuala Lumpur. Luckily I am able to leave office at 7pm today. And that also subject to me finishing the work.

The concert suppose to start at 9pm. We reach there around 15 minutes to 9pm. The crowd is there but the crowd is outside and not inside. But we got in. I was so scared that my brother is not allowed to enter because he is only 17 years old and only 18 and above are allowed in the clubs. However, he manage to pass thru the security and we are in.

This is the first time I’m in Zouk. Yea… yea… say all you want. I know I’m jakun. But I’m not those clubbing type. The very first time I went clubbing (well, so called clubbing) was when I am 18 years old. And that is only once till today. Hahaha… I don’t drink nor do I dance nor do I smoke. So I don’t see the purpose of me going to clubs.

The opening act for Sean Kingston is rapper Jin. I have no idea who is Jin, but he can rap tho. But the crowd are getting restless as they are more interested in Sean Kingston rather than Jin.

An hour past and around 10.15pm the crowd is going crazy. Here comes Sean Kingston. He is really huge man. I was so afraid that the stage will tumble when he start jumping on the stage with his 2 sidekicks. He is such a small kid but earning millions of dollars. This world is just so unfair. Hahaha….

Anyway, check out the video and see for yourself. Enjoy!

I met up with May today in Mid Valley and her friend, Sam. We had a bit of window shopping in The Gardens and decided to go to Old Klang Road for some good old road side food. We left Mid Valley around 7pm and the jam outside is crazy. It’s really bumper to bumper. This is all caused by the heavy downpour not too long ago before we left. Instead of taking 10 min to reach Old Klang Road from Mid Valley, it took us 45 min to reach. And i have to go through Federal Highway and cut through Jalan Gasing to get to Old Klang Road. So near yet so far.

After having road side food, we went to Taman Desa for dessert. We spent about an hour there just chatting away. After that, we just hang out in my house with May.

And May, thanks for the cute notebook. It’s really thoughtful of you to get me one. Thank you so much. I really love it. Thanks.
