Masterpiece number 2

Today don’t need to go to Banting, stayed in office instead. I went to Mid Valley after work. I need a time off from work. So decided to jalan-jalan after work in search for trench coat. I found one in Zara which is red in colour. I love it. But the price is too expensive. It’s RM249. It looks good on me tho. I really wanna buy it. But that time I don’t have so much cash. I’m gonna buy once I have enough money. Aaron promise to buy the trench coat for my birthday present. Hehehehe…

Went to Banting today for work purpose. It’s kinda far from my place tho. It took me bout an hour drive to reach client’s place. This client is dealing in textiles for car seats. Ara Borgstena Sdn Bhd is the name. I don’t think anyone of you had heard it. It’s kinda far in from Kesas Highway. I’m so glad that we didn’t get sesat there. I went there with my senior. I drove of course. Hehehehe…

The map given by the client is not 100% accurate. So we simply bang and it turn out that we found the place without going the wrong way. We are good man. Hehehehe… Beside the company is another company by the name of Young Man Development Sdn Bhd. I was curious on the nature of this company’s business. The company doesn’t seem to be in good shape. There are metals everywhere in the factory. Well, I guess that’s what they use to develop young man. Where else we girls are different. We are developed with all the sweets, spices and everything nice.

The building is kinda old tho. We are supposed to do a 3 years audit since the last year of audit is in year 2000. But it turned out that we only can do Year 2002 since the other 2 years account is not closed yet. We worked there for half a day since we reach there around 11am and we don’t intend to stay late since it’s a rural area and is dangerous for 2 girls to stay there late. Our lunches are provided by the client since there are no shops nearby. We had chicken rice.

At around 5pm we packed and leave the place already. As per the meter, I’ve drove 120KM for 2 way. That’s how far it is. I was so tired after dinner. Yawn! I don’t know how long more we need to be in Banting. How nice if the client provide us accommodation then at least we can drive up to Morib and feel the sea breeze. If only that was true.

The day has arrived. Force of Nature concert. Woo Hoo… I left office at 5pm and I drove like a mad fella home. I was a bit frustrated when there’s a jam in the Mid Valley’s parking lot. I reached home at 5:30pm. Rush into my house, dropped everything and have a quick shower and ready to party!

At 6pm Aaron came and fetch me. I went there with my boyfriend, his sister and cousin and met with 2 of my primary friends. They even have the red carpet. Wait… it’s not red carpet, its orange carpet. Hahahaha… this is because in line with their Force of Nature colour symbol which is orange in colour. Even the stars wore orange and so is the VIPs.

I didn’t manage to catch any artist at the orange carpet. There’s so many people but manage to catch a glimpse of Wycleff. My boyfriend’s sister’s friends said that they saw David Blaine at the orange carpet. Whoa... David Blaine the magnificent magician was here. But too bad he didn’t perform or show up on stage. He was only part of the audience.

As we were about to enter to the stadium, the guards or ticket inspector held a metal detector. They don’t allow us to bring in camera. So what me and Aaron did was we smuggled the camera in. well, we didn’t really smuggle it in. It’s actually like this... I was holding the camera and Aaron past through the guard. So the guard stop me and say that I cannot bring in the camera.

Guard: Camera tak boleh bawa masuk ya.
Me: Har? Tak boleh bawa masuk? Jadi macam mana? Camera letak mana?
Guard: Letak dalam kereta.
Me: Kereta? Tapi I tak bawa kereta. Letak mana? I naik LRT (actually we drove there but I lied)
Guard: *Scratch head & continue to check other people* You tunggu dulu.
Me: *Waiting & hinting to Aaron to come close to me so that I can smuggle in the extra 4 batteries in my pocket*
Guard: Tunggu… tunggu…
Me: Ok lar… macam ni… I bagi you battery. Macam ni I tak boleh tangkap gambar.
Guard: Ok Boleh. *Hands out his hand*
Me: *Pass the batteries in the cam to the guard*

So this is how I smuggle in the camera. Heh heh heh… Hebat leh me. I bought some Force of Nature souvenirs. I bought the Royal Selangor pendent and we are given free wristband. I even bought the wristband from my office for RM2 each and here they are giving away free? Hmmm… but it’s ok. All this is for charity.

We went to the cafeteria and have some bite since we haven’t eat dinner. The food there
is so expensive as expected. We ate burger which cost RM4 and it taste bad. But this is the only decent food that we can find.

After having our yucky burger, we went in to find our seats. Our seats are not bad at all. It’s kinda near to the stage. Hey it’s a RM525 seat ok. That’s the most expensive tickets. The concert is scheduled to start at 7pm but it starts at 7:30pm. The first artist on stage was Paula Malai Ali. She did the introduction to the whole concert. No one cheer or clap for her when she’s talking. All of us thought it was just the MC. But after she finish her intro she introduce herself as “Hi, I’m Paula Abdul”. From the moment she said that, the whole crowd cheers for her. It was so hilarious.

The first performer was Lauryn Hill. The crowd was not into her performance though. And furthermore the stadium is still not filled up. I think she is just the opening act.

The crowd starts to heat up during Wycleff’s performance and it went to the peak during Boyz II Men’s performance. But the crowd went wild and crazy during Backstreet Boys performance. I was really enjoying BSB’s performance. I still can’t believe that I saw BSB. It was like a dream come true. They sang All I Have to Give, As Long As You Love Me, You Are The One, Backstreet’s Back, The Call, and Shape Of My Heart. They even sang one of their latest single which is gonna be released in June. The single’s name is Incomplete.

The closing act was done by Black Eye Peas. The crowd was jumping and cheering for them. Besides than the mentioned artist above, local artists such as Innuendo, VE, Sheila Majid, Dayang Nurfaizah and Annuar Zain. Even Datuk Michelle Yeoh also turns up. Hong Kong artist such as Jackie Chan and Nicholas Tse was there as well. Other artist who turns up unexpected was Clay Aiken, 2 N’Syne member – Lance and Joey, Bai Ling, Soong Ai Ling, Camelia and etc.

There are just so many artists at once. It’s really worth the money. Even our Prime Minister was there as well with his wife. It was a 7 hours concert. It ends almost 3am. This is my best ever concert I’ve been. All I can say was Force of Nature was a BLAST!
