Backstreet Boys Unbreakable Tour was a blast. I really enjoyed myself there. This is the first time I was late for the concert. It suppose to start at 8pm but we were at the entrance at 7.45pm. The crowd was huge. It took us half an hour to get in. And the worst part is, I thought the entrance was at Elephant Walk like it used to. So I park my car behind Sunway College. Turned out that the entrance is next to Sunway Hotel. So we walked all the way from Elephant Walk to Sunway Hotel. It's a long walk I tell you. But the walk is all good. At least I have company. Hehe...

Nick, Brian, AJ and Howie, I really do hope you guys visit Malaysia more often. I can't wait for another concert from you guys. And to 'You' who had accompanied me to the concert. Thank you so much. I really had a great night with you. *Smiles*

Here are the photos. Sorry, they are kinda blur. But check out the next post for the videos which are much better. Enjoy!

I am counting down to the days to catch Backstreet Boys live in action. The last time I saw them was on 18 March 2005, which is 3 years ago during their performance in Force of Nature. Force of Nature was a blast. I really did enjoyed myself. And I am sure I will enjoy myself this time. I really can't wait for the concert especially with whom you are going with. ~Smiles~

Today I met up with my secondary friends for a CNY lunch at Hakka Restaurant. It is so hard to organize gathering nowadays. Everyone is so busy with their own activities and commitments. And there is always last minute changes. But I really appreciate those who turn up. A very Big THANK YOU to May Ng for taking the initiative to come. She actually took a bus from Singapore this morning just to make it for lunch and back to Singapore the next day. I know it’s a long and tiring journey from Singapore to KL. Thank you so much.

I must say that the lunch didn’t went well. Everything seem not going in order. We are suppose to meet at 12.30pm but due to May Ng who can’t make it on time, we postponed it to an hour later. But I think the traffic in KL today was bad so we only started to eat around 2:30pm. And in less than 15 minutes when the food was served, another of my friend got to go pick her sister up from Pudu. So we got to wait for her to come back to finish her lunch.

And worst of all, I don’t like the service of that Restaurant at all. The waitress are rude. We didn’t know that the shop closes at 3pm. They started to off the air-con at around 2.45pm. And it’s so hot and stuffy there. And at around 3.15pm, a waitress just approach our table and bring us the bill rudely. They should have told us that they are gonna close and need us to pay up the bill. We haven’t even finish our lunch. Sigh… What a bad service.

The food was so-so only. And it is pricey man. There’s 8 of us and the total bill comes to RM381 (after tax). We ordered:-

Yee Sang (Hoi Chit) RM38
4 Season dish (Fatt Put, Abalone salad, Fried stuff fish ball, Fish cake) RM100
Thai style deep fried fish RM50
Half herbal chicken RM30++
Vegetable RM18
Tofu RM20
Seafood soup (alternative to sharkfin) RM80

All the Leng Luis. One Leng Lui is missing as she went back early

It's Valentines Day today. It's just a normal day for me today. No celebration at all for myself. But it's a depressing day for me. Why? Well, because I am lonely and furthermore there's so many happy couples I bumped into in Mid Valley. All walking hand-in-hand. Holding bouquet of flowers, huge teddies, nicely wrapped gifts, hugs and kisses. How I wish I'm one of them. Well, I used to be like one of them but not this year. Well, I should be happy for them.

Well, actually I do have a date tonight, but I've decline him. This guy has been going after me for quite sometime. But I think we are moving too fast and I don't have feelings for him. Well, probably it's my fault for going out quite often with him. I just treat him as a friend though. But he's a very sweet guy. Well, I guess I'm not ready for a relationship yet at the moment. I just don't want to be hurt again.

Actually, I was waiting for another guy to ask me out. But it's already 9pm now and I don't think he will. So I guess, this will be a lonely Valentine's Day for me.

P/S: Mr Valentine's Brown turns 1 today. Happy Birthday Mr Valentine's Brown.

Today is my first day of work in my new company, Synovate Sdn Bhd. It's located in Menara IGB, Mid Valley. Well, yea... I can go shopping everyday. Hahaha... I'm sure I will be bored of Mid Valley very soon.

My office hours are from 9am to 5.30pm and 5 days week. My position in Synovate is as a Financial Analyst for South Asia. I'm only reporting to my boss which is a Financial Controller for South Asia. So I will be looking after the accounts for countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Philippines, and Thailand.

There's nothing much for me to do on the first day of work. During the day the HR and the IT guy basically brief us on the Company policies and the security of the internet etc. On that day itself, there's 2 new hires. One of them is myself and the other is HR Executive. The HR personnel took us for an office tour and introduce us to the rest of the colleagues. That is the first time I've shook so many people's hand in half an hour. Hahaha.. There's 200++ staff in Synovate KL.

So, basically for the rest of my day I was just browsing through the website. Getting use to my very OWN workstation. Yes! I got my very own workstation. I know I'm a bit jakun here. But in EY, I don't have my own workstation. In EY it's a common workstation where first come first serve applies. And I have my very own Fax cum Scanner cum Copier Printer. Hahaha.. I'm so happy.

Well, I do hope that the colleagues here are nice and friendly. I hope I made the right choice of leaving EY and joining this company. Wish me all da best guys.

Today is the first day of CNY. My family drove all the way to Jenjarum (somewhere near Banting which is about 1 1/2 hours drive). There's this temple in Jenjarum which is brightly and beautifully lited. This is my 3rd year going to this temple, FGS Dong Zen. Check out the pictures. It's really beautiful. I strongly recommend you guys to visit this temple.

Today is my last day in Ernst & Young after 3 years and 10 months. It's a sad and lonely day as most of my colleagues are away on jobs or on leave due to CNY which is tomorrow. But my boss / manager is there. So manage to take a memorable photo with her. She has been really nice and kind to me. I feel sad to leave such a good boss behind. I hope my future boss in my new company is as good as her or better. Just got to pray. I just want to take this opportunity to thank Ernst & Young for all the experience that I've gain. Thank you EY. Muacks!

As promised, here are the Pangkor Pictures. I stayed for 3 days 2 nights in Pangkor. My colleague drove to Pangkor. We stop at Sitiawan for lunch and she brought us to this famous biscuit shop and so happen, at that time Astro AEC Motosikal (Food documentary) are there fliming. What a coincidence. And my colleagues are on TV as they are being interviewed when they aired that episode. I think I might appear on TV as well. According to them, they gonna aired this episod somewhere in February or March. So, please do imform me when you see me on TV. Hahaha... I seldom watch AEC. Or should I say, I never watch AEC channel. Hahaha...

My colleague in Pink was being interviewed by the host in black.

After lunch, we check into the hotel. Hotel Flamingo which is few blocks away from the biscuit shop. But I ain't staying here as I will be joing my primary friends in Pangkor Island. It's a 2 / 3 stars hotel I think.

After checking in, we went to the Lumut jetty to head to Pangkor Island. It's a pretty hot day. The Ferry cost RM6 per way I think. Can't really remember the price though. It's a pretty far drive from the town of Sitiawan.

Once we reach Pulau Pangkor we have a city tour. Well, it's really small in Pangkor and nothing much to see. However, we visited the Dutch Fort which looks like A'Famosa in Melaka. Hahaha... From there we went to a temple and to the Satay Factory and followed by Beach where we had picnic. Hahaha..

Well, I really had a great time with my colleagues in Pangkor Island. That's the end with my colleagues in Pangkor. They are heading back to Sitiawan but I stayed back to join my primary friends instead who will be staying in the Island itself.
At night all we did was playing cards. It did not involve any cash but we gamble using groundnuts and the loser of each round has to drink. Haha... Since there 8 of us, we are being paired up as the girls don't drink. But in the end I drank a few cups just to join in the fun. We played Cho Tai Di and Poker and In Between. First time learning how to play. We played till 3 am I think. We played Twister too. It's really tiring and it's not easy especially when you are half drunk. Hahaha... but it's all fun. Furthermore we are going snorkling the next day. Oh No!!
