I woke up early again today. I drop by office to do some printing and filling. It eats up an hour though. Then we head on to the Cat Show in Matrade somewhere near Jalan Duta. This Cat Show is horrible. The parking cost RM3. That is fine. But they charge entrance fee as well which is another RM3 per person. I told myself this better be good since they are charging entrance fee. As we walked in, we are given some door gift which consists of 2 packets of cat food and a notepad and few sponsors’ brochures. As we enter, the hall is empty. All the cat cages are empty too. I started to swear. This is ridiculous. We paid RM3 per person to see empty cages and a few cats lying around. Sigh… I was so disappointed. I swear never to go to anymore cat shows ever again. Well, unless it’s an International renowned cat shows.

From Matrade, we head on to The Curve. Reason is that we are supposed to watch The Kingdom but due to time constraints we decided to go for window shopping instead.

From Matrade to The Curve, I cut through Kepong to go to The Curve. We decided to have ‘sai mai lou’ in Kepong but on the way there, we spotted a Duck Rice stall and decided to have duck rice for lunch.

Our main purpose is to find a Christmas tree. So our first stop is Ikea. But too bad they only sell real Christmas tree. Well, they do sell fake green Christmas tree but I’m looking for fake white Christmas tree. So we only bought a toilet brush, a fruit peeler and wedding present for my colleague (3 in 1 photo frame).

During tea, we had in Ikea’s Café. Ohhh… you should try their manager’s special which consists of 2 long big fat chicken franks with smash potato and coleslaw which cost RM8.90. It’s really delicious. But I still missed their beef balls. Sob sob…

I was so full when I reach home. And an hour later, I have dinner with my family. Eat and eat and eat. But our main mission i.e. finding a white Christmas tree fails. So the hunt will be on again next weekend.

I woke up pretty early on a Saturday morning and drove to Pavilion, KL to be the first few batches to enter the newly open GSC in Pavilion. The tickets distribution starts at 10am and we reach there at 9.30am. We expected the queue to be pretty long (you know la Malaysians, if FREE means take as many as you can). But I was wrong, the queue was pretty short. But they opened 7 lanes and there’s like 6-7 people in front of us.

The movies they offer are FREE of course. The Grand opening is on Wednesday (28 November 2007). They are giving free movies from today till Tuesday. The movies they offers are old movies such as Spiderman trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man’s Chest, Pirates of the Caribbean - At World’s End, Casino Royal, Ratatouille, Otai (Malay), Secret (Chinese), Sivaji the Boss (Tamil), Transformers and International screen movies I Am David and Priceless (French). We watched Casino Royal. In fact I’ve not watch it yet. Hahaha…

There is nothing spectacular about the new Premier GSC. Just that there is more leg rooms and it’s slightly more spacious. Casino Royal is a pretty good movie I must say. Although I’m not a James Bond fan. But I find that the actress is not pretty enough and not sexy enough. Hahaha… But at the end where James Bond was being tortured it was horrible. I can feel his pain.

We spent almost the whole day in Pavilion. We went window shopping. This is the first time I walked the whole of pavilion. Oh yea… on that day Sakae Sushi is having promotion on their grand opening. They gave out flyers and balloon. The balloon is to entitle u to a free dessert and the flyers entitle you to try their new dessert menu and they will reimburse 100% on the bill on your next visit in a form of RM10 vouchers. The dessert is really mouth-watering but it is pricey I must say. Look at the pictures to see for yourself.

On the way back we passed by a Fish Spa. Yes… little fishes will be the masseur. It cost RM38 for 30 minutes and you just dip your leg into the water filled with little fishes. Then the little fishes will swim to your feet and will start to nibble their way through. Some of them are enjoying it and some of them are giggling their way through. Interesting isn’t it? So who wants to try it out with me? After all it’s only RM38.

Oh yea, another gadget that I'm interested is a digital camera. Although I just bought a new Sony T100 like 4 months ago but like I say, it's love at first sight. So what do you think of this camera? It's Sony Album-T which cost RM1,399. 8.1 megapixel high-quality Carl Zeiss 3x optical zoom, 4GB internal memory, Touch screen LCD display, Smile Shutter, Face Detection It comes in 5 colours. I like the white one. Hehe...

Today is my ACCA convocation and here I am sitting at home. Sigh… I really looking forward to this convocation since the first day I started taking ACCA classes. But then the only person that I wanted to share this convocation has left me. So there is no point going for the convocation. Sob sob…

But luckily I manage to find some other activities to keep me occupied so that I would not be as miserable as staying at home alone.

I met up with my friends in Star Hill and had a Japanese buffet called Jogoya. It’s actually found by a Taiwanese but they serve Japanese food. How weird. It’s pretty pricey. They have 4 slots. The lunch slot from 12noon to 2pm cost RM78++, late lunch from 2pm to 4.20pm cost RM68++ (Which is the cheapest slot), dinner from 6pm to 9pm cost RM88++ and supper from 9pm onwards cost RM78++.

Obviously we went for the cheapest slot which cost RM78.20 after tax. They have Japanese food, teppanyaki, deep fried, Indian cuisine, western cuisine, Chinese cuisine, desserts, drinks and etc. They have a huge range of food. We don’t even know where to start. My friends all start digging into fresh oyster and sashimi but I pass because I don’t take raw stuff.

Pictures paint a thousand words. So here are some of the pictures captured.
