It’s national day today. And it’s suppose to be a public holiday but not for me. Although I’m not working today but I have class the whole day from 8am till 6pm. sigh… Since last Saturday I have classes everyday till the following Wednesday. So sien.

I went to KLCC after work which is a walking distance from my client’s place. And guess what I found in KLCC concourse area? You will never able to guess it. It’s a jetplane. Yeap, a jet plane! How cool is that. I wonder how they manage to bring the plane into KLCC. Hmmm… I wonder whether is it still functioning or is it just for display. What do you think?

After work I went to Mid Valley for a short window shopping after a hard day at work. Coincidence, the concourse of Mid Valley they are having some event by M.A.C. and one of the guest artists is Daniel from Malaysian idol. Finally I manage to get up close and personal with him. But he looks scary up close. I have no idea why. But my Goosebumps start to come out. Hahaha…

My result will be announced today through e-mail. I don’t have internet access in my client place but I can borrow their internet cable via their cubicle. I checked once on 9.30am. no e-mail I checked again at 10am again to no avail. So I decided to ask my darling to check for me once in a while and if he saw inbox (1) or junk mail (1) I ask him to fast fast sms me and I’ll go and check.
He sms me at 11am+. He was so excited. Almost 10 sms came in. my heart is pumping really hard. When I finally get connected, true enough there is a junk mail (1) and the title of the e-mail is result online. My heart is pumping 10x harder. I click on the mail. Scroll down slowly. And to my surprise, I passed both my optional paper. I’m so happy. I didn’t expect to pass my paper 3.1 (Audit). Well, I can consider myself really lucky because the passing mark for ACCA is 50 and above and I got 50 for my audit paper. How lucky. Phew.

After class went I went to Low Yat Plaza to buy dad birthday present. I’ve decided to buy him a new handphone since he is still using Nokia 3330 and that phone I found in ladies toilet when I work as a promoter in Careffour Sri Petaling few years back. The phone that caught my attention was Nokia 6030. The price is within my budget, the functions are easy and not complicated, the keypad is easy to use, colour screen, and the display is big. So this is the best candidate for my dad. And it’s black in colour. It looks very stylish and slick. The price they initially offer me was RM370 then to RM350. Then when I say I pay cash they reduce to RM330 which is the last offer and I took it. I hope he likes the phone.

I’m dying for a chocolate cake. During lunch me and my colleague went to City Square for lunch and we walked pass Ampang Park. Each of us bought a brownie from La Manila which cost RM3 each. I bought chocolate fudge (flourless). It’s so rich in chocolate. Half the cake will be just nice but the full cake is a bit too much.

After class I went to Nichi Fashion in the Curve. They are having up to 70% sale. This is a must go. Hahaha… Well, in fact the clothes are really cheap. However, I only bought a lacy top which cost RM29.90 less 10%. The sale goes on till 3rd September. I planned to go to Sg Besi outlet which is bigger and more variety. If only I manage to find the time. Sigh…
After Nichi, I went to Ikea to find pot for my mini cactus. They do sell the pot I’m looking for but then it comes with cactus. I only want the pot. So in the end I didn’t buy. I shall find it in other shops.
I stopped by Pet’s Wonderlanad and manage to witness a playful Pug playing tug-of-war with a small teddy. He’s so cute. Check out the picture and you will know what I mean. That is if you love dogs.

I’ve been working late for the past few weeks. I’m so tired every time I reach home and the next morning I have difficulty in getting up. My client is ‘Golden Hope Plantations’. It’s a listed company and it’s huge. I think many of you might have heard of this client.
Golden Hope is situated in Menara PNB, Jalan Tun Razak, in the golden triangle. So you can imagine the jam that I have to go through every morning. And furthermore the nearest and cheapest parking to Menara PNB is the KLCC Park which cost RM3. But the bad thing about this parking is first, it is pretty far, and second, by 8:20am, the parking is full. So I have to leave house early everyday in order to get a parking space there.
The office is pretty old too. You can smell the aroma of an old office. There are 24 of us in this audit. So you can imagine how big this company is. And they have tight deadline too. Sigh… I wonder when will this gonna end. I’m like a dead fish now.
