Today is one of my colleague’s last day with Synovate. She joins Synovate one week after me and left way earlier than me. Hahaha… Well, I just would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best in your career progression with the new company. Although we’ve only known each other for 3 months, but we did share a lot of things together especially those shopping heavens in Mid Valley and The Gardens. I really miss you gal. Do drop by to visit us and we will surely inform you if there is a great sale here. Hahaha..

For lunch, we went to Red Ginger Restaurant in North Point, Mid Valley. The food is delicious and not forgetting their signature drink which is the Kasturi Pomelo Juice. It’s just lovely. I have not tasted anything like this before. Check out the picture to see for yourself.

We have our annual department dinner today. Well, this dinner is just to gather our Finance department together. It’s more of an unofficial gathering kind of thing. We went to Italianies, The Garden for dinner. Here are some group shots.

Yummy Tiramisu Cake for dessert (Sorry, the only food taken was this cake)

Well, it is true that life is like a roller coaster.

You admire the roller coaster from afar.
You want to approach the roller coaster but very afraid.
When you are near the roller coaster, your heart beats real fast.
When you are on the roller coaster, you say your last prayers.
When the roller coaster starts to move, you start to freak out and wish you were not on it.
When the roller coaster is at its peak, you admire the view from the top.
When the roller coaster begins to slide down, you shut your eyes real tight and start to scream your lung out.
When the roller coaster comes to a halt, you can’t wait to get out.
When you get out of the roller coaster, your legs are wobbly.
When you turn back to look at the roller coaster, you want more of it despite your fear.
And it starts all over again.

Life is all about ups and downs. Life is all about happiness and sorrows. Life is all about being loved and being bumped. But why must a life be so difficult? Why must one go thru tones of obstacle to find their true love? To find their preferred path? To find the right future?

I have indeed been through a lot lately. I’ve met so many wonderful new friends and yet, met so many unfaithful friends. It is so hard to judge a friend. Sometimes they could be really really nice to you. And the other minute, they could turn into someone whom you don’t know at all.

So, is it a good thing to stay single? I am kinda happy being single at the moment. Well, probably I have no other choice do I? I have more time for my family and my girlfriends. I’ve never been this close to them before and that is really beautiful. But I do feel lonely inside at times because the love that was showered by my family and girlfriend is different. I want the love that was being showered by the one and only person that you loved. But that person has yet to be found. (I hope ‘YOU’ are the one – Can’t wait for you to come back though).

In the past few months, I’ve met so many wrong people. Probably it’s true that God wants you to meet few wrong people before you finally met your true love. They are all being so nice to me. But the problem is they come together. And the choices are hard. And I’m so afraid that people will see me as a playgirl. Therefore, I’ve decided to turn all of them down. I know this will hurt them and even myself, but then again, it’s better to get hurt now then later. However, there’s this one whom I really like. I really do hope we could continue from where we left off before he flew to overseas. I really can’t wait for you to come back.

All I want is to be love. I just wish that my hope will come true one day.

Well, sadly, I didn't make it for the DOND. I got eliminated in the first round. But I will still appear in TV. Just stay tune to DOND to catch me on TV. Apparently it will be aired end of this year or early next year.

Anyway, I did not regret at all. It was a really great experience to see behind the scene. I reach the NTV7 studio at 8.30am. And I was pulled into the make up room. They did my make up and hairdo about an hour inclusive of waiting time that is.

There are about 30 contestants for the shooting over 5 episodes. Meaning there are 5 groups. Each group consists of 6 contestants. The first round is the Q&A session where 6 contestants will compete. The first contestant who got 2 right answers will proceed to the second round which is the briefcase round.

I only got one answer correct. My question goes like this:-
What is the famous food that the Chinese eat during Mid Autumn Festival?

Well, the answer is of course Mooncake Festival. The second questions which is the winning question goes like this:-
In what course did Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi graduated from?
A. Political Science
B. Islamic Studies
C. Law

In my heart was saying Islamic Studies but I hesitated to press the buzzer. And turn out that the contestant sits next to me who also had one answer right pressed the buzzer. And he answered Islamic Studies and he was right. Argh! I was so disappointed with myself for not pressing the buzzer. If not I will be the one going on stage to play the briefcase round.

Well, at least I got one correct answer. There are some contestants who did not have a chance to answer at all. It was a really good experience. And I am sure to participate in DOND again.

P/S: I basically went nuts after failing in DOND as witness in the random pictures above. Hahaha... This is the side effect of failing DOND. So be prepared if you were to take part in DOND in the next season. Hahahaha....

Check out the brand new Perodua Nautica 4WD. Perodua will be launching this new model on 10 May. I can't wait to see, touch and feel it. The price for this is approximately RM90k. The price is still not known yet. Well, I hope it is lower than expected. It's 1.5cc. It is fully imported from Japan. This is the same model as Daihatsu Terios or Daihatsu Bego except for some minor facelit. I wish to get this car. Hopefully my dad allows me to after a big dissapoinment with Toyota Altis.
