One day trip to Ipoh today. The main reason we went to Ipoh is to attend a wedding ceremony. Well, I'm a total stranger to the newly wed couple. Hahaha... Actually the bride is my best friend's colleague. So I tag along to Ipoh just for the fun of it. Hahaha...

Other than attending the wedding ceremony, the 2nd reason we went to Ipoh is for makan shopping. We ate and ate and ate till we drop. I've never eaten so many meals in a day before in my life. But there's always a first time. Hahaha...

We start of with Tim Sum for breakfast at around 11am. Then head on to the famous Tau Foo Far (fyi, I don't like tau too fa but since it's famous, no harm trying). It was the best Tau Foo Far I've tasted although I don't like eating Tau Foo Far. It's so smooth the texture but it's a bit too sweet. And the best thing is, we ate in the car. Hahaha... we park our car in front of their tiny shop and order and eat there. How cool is it.

At around 1pm we went for Ipoh white coffee in one of the corner coffee shop. We drank, chat and camwhore a bit. Next we stop by Jusco Kinta City to meet up with another friend and head on for the wedding ceremony.

At the wedding ceremony, we ate again. Hahaha... And while eating we even plan on where to eat next.

We bought some local biscuits and kaya puff. We even went to Tambun to buy some pomelos. We wanted to have 'Tan Tan' (steam egg aka Chinese cawanmushi). But we ran out of luck as it is sold out for the day. I've not tried it before. Was so eager to try it but then luck was not on our side. And we drank instead. Hahaha...

After that we head on to Indulgence Cafe for some lovely cakes. The place is fabulous. I love the ambience of the place. Very quiet and peaceful. And their cakes are lovely. Yum yumm...

Our last meal of the day is of course their famous white chicken + taugeh. Haha... That we had it for early dinner before we hit the road back to KL. It was a really fun one day trip to Ipoh. Wonder where we going next? Hahaha...
