today is my 1st day at work as a promoter promoting contact lens. it was tiring man. all i'm suppose to do is to let at least 20 customer to try the contact lens. but i didn't reach the target for today. only manage to get 12 customers.

i'm promoting in one of the optical outlet in IOI Mall Puchong. New Mega is its name. the shop's location is not strategic at all. if you have been to IOI mall you'll know what i mean. from outside you can't see the shop. you have to go into a shop in order to find the optical shop. and furthermore not many passerby. so, i had a hard time promoting.

all i could say is that it is a tough job. if it wasn't for the money i would have quit. the pay is RM70 + commission. the commision is very little. so no point working so hard just to earn the wee tiny bit of commission.

but luckily the staff in the outlet are friendly and helpful. they did help me get some customer. the manager there is one young and kinda handsome looking guy. he's only 22 years old. his name is Ian Chi if i'm not mistaken. he treat me kinda nice today tho. he taught me how to use the computerized eye test machine. it's interesting.
